Walking Down the Path of Memories
When I was a little kid, so many times when we saw something that really needed to be done, everyone would say "they" should do something about it. "They" seemed to always be blamed. It was said so many times, yet I really did not understand
So I asked my Dad - (My Dad quit school in the 4th grade to help take care of his family - so never had much of an education - he called himself a Country Bumpkin - He didn't need an education though, he could weave his bad grammar into a beautiful and wise tapestry of life lessons)
His answer was, "They is an excuse, they will never do nothin' - it's the me's, the we's, the I's who will fix, and build, and grow. If there is one lesson, I want my kids to learn it is don't stop with thinking, don't stop with trying. Dream, and Do - Don't be a They - be the Me, the We, the I"
I'm not always successful, but I do try to live that lesson - so yes we can be the difference, for ourselves and for others, when we are the We, the Me, or the I.
